Paid consultations are one hour long, and in addition to giving the client and the firm the chance to assess a possible representational relationship, limited legal advice can be provided which addresses a client’s specific questions and concerns. Please note that participating in a paid consult does not mean RPM Law is representing you in your matter, as the legal advice provided is limited to the consult itself.

The fee for a paid consult is $325 per hour of discussion with an attorney, paid in advance (at the time of scheduling the appointment). Additional time, if needed, will be charged at the same rate, in minimum one-hour increments. If you have documents you want the attorney to review in advance and provide them to the firm before your appointment (strongly recommended), please keep in mind that the time necessary for reviewing them will be deducted from the hour allotted to the consult appointment.

The more information you can provide to the attorney, the more useful and productive your time will be. Simply sitting down to discuss your case with an attorney, without sufficient details and background information, will not prove effective. Our objective is to give you the information you want and need, but might be limited in our ability to do so without knowing all the facts. It’s most efficient if you come to the consultation session with a list of specific questions to be addressed.
